Middleware Administrator

Job Description

Middleware Administrator will collaborate with various stakeholders (including vendors) on API Management, ESB, and Middleware solution implementation, administration, and maintenance including performance monitoring and logs reviewing, collaborate with development on the system design and system integration via Rest-API/SOAP/ISO/gRPC and to standardize/propose best practice of API design (API life cycle), security design, and documentation.

• Head Office, Phnom Penh (01 Post).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with development team on standard implementation SOAP, Rest-API, or gRPC and best practice of API management life cycle.
• Support developers to prepare/update APIs documents on Developer portal.
• Collaborate with development team to expose API on API Management.
• Monitoring the API Management Performance.
• Reviewing log error log, access log, and server log of API Management.
• User role/permission maintenance on API Management.
• Coordinate vendors and technical team to identify bug/fix/issue, performance tuning, apply fix/update if needed.
• Collaborate with development team to implement system integration/business logic on ESB/Middleware either Rest-API, SOAP, gRPC, ISO, and etc.
• Monitoring the ESB/Middleware Performance.
• Reviewing log error log, access log, and server log of ESB/Middleware system.
• User role/permission maintenance on ESB/Middleware system.
• Coordinate vendors and technical team to identify bug/fix/issue, performance tuning, apply fix/update if needed.
• Work closely with development team on the standard/best practice API design and API security.
• Collaborate with automate tester on automation testing and stress-test if required.
• Collaborate with ICT security team on Pen-test if required.
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors related to API Management/ESB/Middleware implement, and ABA system development if required.

Skills and Qualification Required

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or IT related fields.
• 1+ years of strong experience (relevant) in Web back-end API (Rest-API/SOAP/or gRPC) development with any programming languages. 
• Basic knowledge/concept of any web security technology (such as Basic Authentication, JWT, OAuth 2.0, CORS, Hash/HMAC or PKI/RSA encryption) is preferred.
• Experience in n-tier architecture system development (web, app, and database) and system integration is preferred.
• Experience with API Management or Enterprise Service Bus is plus.
• Experience of technologies used in banking sector (or financial services) is plus.
• Thorough knowledge of Software Development Life cycle (SDLC).
• Basic understanding of Firewall, Web Application Firewall, Web Server, Web Proxy, Database, SQL.
