Manager of Research and Development Unit

PRASAC MFI Ltd is the largest and leading microfinance institution in Cambodia in providing financial services to Cambodian people such as: credits, deposits, water bill payment, electricity bill payment, goods and service bill payment, transfer, money exchange, phone top-up, payroll service, fast payment, ATM, POS and others with a network of 176 offices and 128 ATMs all throughout Cambodia. PRASAC is currently seeking for the qualified Cambodian candidate to fill in the position as stated below:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop monthly competitor information
• Conduct client satisfaction and dropout/exit survey on a regular basic
• Develop Survey/research proposals and other related proposal
• Conduct feasibility study on new financial products and services
• Establish effective tools and approaches for on-going monitoring and evaluation of the business plan/projects/products to ensure the business heads in the right direction
• Conduct market research and analytical reviews for the business expansion (economic data analysis, market data analysis by sector and target segments
• Drives analytical reports for Management to deeply understand our SWOT/PEST analysis and initiate for correct actions if needed
• Define, formulate, and implement research and analysis to support for business growth
• Undertakes corporate assignments to perform and complete ad hoc tasks or projects
• Assist in social project management and CSR project is required from management
• Other tasks assigned by management

Key Selection Criteria and Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, or equivalent
• Strong business performance analysis skills/Analytics experience and research skills
• Independent, innovative with strong goal orientation and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to influence decisions
• Strong appreciation of implementation issues and constantly delivers timelines
• Willing to work as a team or individual
• Knowledge at Micro-finance and development is preferable
• Good relationship with the public, good interpersonal skill
• Ability to work and thrive under pressure with high commitment
• Good in both written and spoken English
