Head, Credit Risk Full-time Job

Job Introduction

The role is in charge of assessing and mitigating credit risk in the loan portfolio at senior management level.

Job Description

• Oversees, leads and develops the Credit Risk Department consisting of some 35 staff, including SME loan advisors, decision-takers and loan recovery officers

• Participates in the SME credit committee decisions in order to support sustainable business expansion

• Strengthens the bad loan recovery processes in order to improve recovery performance

• Enhances the SME lending skills within own teams and across the sales network on ongoing basis

• Involves in initiatives to proactively manage emerging credit risk trends in the loan portfolio.

Job Requirements

• Degree in economics or financial fields preferred

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience and minimum 7 years in leading a team

• Solid credit decision taker, exposure to work in credit committee and relevant experience in SME lending

• Analytical mind and enthusiast communicator

• Ability to lead and develop teams

• Solid in English and Khmer for both verbal and written communication

• Business process management experience is a strong asset

• Credit scoring experience would be a plus.
