Main Duties

• Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains electrical distribution systems including electric motors, electric controls, fire alarms, and clock systems.
• Ensures the Bank building fire alarms and emergency electrical systems are operational; performs certification testing on alarm systems.
• Installs troubleshoots and repairs new equipment and systems, including all the Bank building lights and programmable lighting controls.
• Monitors work done by outside contractors for adherence to EDC Requirements and reports back to the supervisor.
• Maintain and repair fire alarm, clock, programmable lighting, and access systems.
• Responds to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.
• Analyze and respond safely and appropriately to emergency situations; perform preventive maintenance on switch gears and transformers.
• Assists in the writing of specifications for repairs and new construction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or related fields.
• Two years as a licensed, journey-level wireman in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting.
• Knowledge of all electrical distribution systems; methods and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and methods, materials, tools, equipment and systems used in the electrical trade.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong desire to work in a team and deal with challenges
• English language proficiency.
