Core Developer

 

1. KEY TASKS:

Core Developer will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Core Developer will be responsible for developing,

configuring Java application for TrueMoney system.

 

2. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Contribute in all phases of the Scrum software development process

-Grooming

-Sprint Planning

-Daily Scrum Meeting

-Sprint Review

-Sprint Retrospective

-Develop and maintain TrueMoney’s back-end system

     -Gateway with Ruby and Java

     -Java API using Spring and Hibernate Framework

-Perform configuration on various projects/products

-Process deployment tasks when release is required

-Support stakeholders on urgent issues (Care Center, Sales, Finance….)

 

3. SPECIFICATION:

-Bachelor Degree in Computer Science

-Experience in software development using open-source technology

-Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban development process

-Experience in PostgreSQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus)

-Knowledge of frameworks and design patterns

-Familiar with RESTful and SOAP Web Service

-Knowledge of Web Server; Jetty, Apache, Apache Tomcat

-Knowledge on Linux system; Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat …etc.

-Experience with source code management such as Git or BitBucket

-Good analytical skills

-Good communication and interpersonal skills

-Fast learner, creative thinker, problems solver

-Team player, highly motivated and self-manageable

-Comfortable with working flexible working hours depending upon business need

-Ability to work under pressure and extra hours to meet set target

-Willing to learn new technologies
